A new garage door on your house, before you decide
See the door on your own house before you spend anything. One photograph of your frontage, a style that suits it, and the new door appears on your street, not in a showroom.

What we bind ourselves to
A written price that holds, and a free estimate.
Free or waived service calls are common in this market, but they are usually conditional: waived only if you approve the repair. Ours is not conditional, and the price is written down before the work starts.
The price is written down, and it holds.
Our technician inspects the door, tells you what is wrong, and writes down the price you pay. Nothing else is touched without your say-so, and the part we install is named on the invoice with its specification.
Spring cycle rating is one of the specifications that can explain why two otherwise similar quotes come out different.
The estimate is free either way.
You get the price whether you go ahead or not, and it is yours to take to anybody else.
Repair
Tell us what it is doing.
Each choice below is written the way you would say it. Most of what goes wrong is one of a handful of faults, and several of them are not safe to touch yourself.
What we do
Repair, replacement and driveway gates.
A new door is most of what people see
On a Los Angeles frontage the garage door is usually the largest flat surface visible from the street: more of the elevation than the front door and the windows together. Which door belongs on your house depends on the house: its era, its setback, and the light it gets in the afternoon. So we start with a picture of your own frontage.
See a new door on your house takes one photograph and puts a different door on it. Nothing is ordered, nothing is booked, and you can delete the photograph afterward. When you want a figure, the free estimate is a real visit with a written price.
If you want to read first: new doors organized by the kind of house they go on, Spanish and Mediterranean frontages, low-headroom and hillside garages, and houses in historic districts.

When the door has stopped working
A door that will not lift, a spring that snapped with a bang, a cable off its drum, an opener running while nothing moves. Garage door repair covers what we find and what it usually takes to fix, and the fault pages describe the common ones so you can tell us what you are looking at before we arrive.
Which failures cannot wait, and what to leave alone until our technician is there, is set out under emergency garage door repair. When the appointment is arranged we give you an arrival window, not a vague half-day.
Common parts for normal garage-door service are carried on the van, so a routine spring or cable and track job usually does not wait on a supplier. Openers from the major market brands are serviced, LiftMaster among them.
Driveway gates
The same crew works on driveway gates: swing and slide, the operator, the safety edges and loops, and the intercom or keypad that lets people in. If the gate and the garage door both need attention, they can be looked at on one visit.

How a visit goes
Our technician inspects the door, works out what has failed, and explains it to you in plain words. You get a written price before anything is touched. Work starts when you approve it, and the part that goes on is written down with its specification, so you know what is on your house.
The inspection and the estimate are free. You can ask about financing if you prefer to spread the cost of a replacement, and what changes the cost explains why two quotes for the same door can differ.
