Emergency garage door repair in Los Angeles
A door stuck open to the street, or one that has shut a car in, cannot wait. Call, and the visit is booked before you hang up. Until our technician is there, leave the spring and the track alone.

What counts as an emergency
The failures that cannot wait are the ones that affect the house. One leaves the opening standing wide to the street. The other brings the door down hard and shuts a car in. Tell us which one you are looking at when you call, and if it is easier to send the form, we call you back.
What we ask when you call
- You describe what the door is doing. Whether it moves, what it sounded like when it failed, and whether a car is shut inside.
- A door that has started grinding or rattling is not an emergency. A door that will not close is.
- Our technicians isolate the opener, work the door by hand, find the failure, and show you the part that caused it.
- They carry the common parts a normal garage door service calls for, so the common failures are ones they arrive prepared for. If a door turns out to need something less common, you are told what it is.
What we promise
The inspection and the estimate are free, and they stay free whether or not you go ahead, so there is no cost to thinking it over. Whatever part goes on is written on the invoice with its specification, so there is a record of what went on the door. What moves the written price is the part and the labor it takes, set out on what affects the price.
What can fail on the door
A snapped torsion spring. A safety sensor knocked out of line so the door refuses to seal. A cable off its drum or a door off its track. An opener that runs while the door stays still. These are set out under garage door repair, spring repair, cable and track repair and openers.
You can see a new door on your own frontage on our visualizer.
Do not touch a broken spring or a door off its track
A torsion spring carries the whole weight of the door under high tension. When it breaks, that weight has nothing holding it. A door that has jumped its track is the same hazard with less warning. In either case, leave the door where it is, keep people and cars from under it, and call.
